Alive Film — Identity for a Production Company with a Sense of Place

As in-house Art Director at Alive Media, I led the brand identity for Alive Film — the agency’s dedicated production division. Working directly with founder Alexandra Menskaya, we built a brand system designed not just to look good, but to open doors — including a pitch presentation developed to position Alive Film with major European production houses and ad agencies.

The identity is built around a circular logo evoking recording, continuity, and the loop of storytelling. The typographic system — Mongoose and Loos Compressed — brings structure and emotional weight, with small signature details like the coloured punctuation dot functioning as quiet brand devices that reward attention.

To ground the brand in place, I developed generative topographic patterns in TouchDesigner referencing Cyprus’s landscapes — directly supporting the positioning line: 'Have you ever filmed in Cyprus? '

The full system spans brand guidelines, typographic rules, motion references, and presentation design — built to communicate trust, locality, and creative ambition to an international audience.
